NetThing 2023 Fellowships

NetThing is pleased to announce the launch of the NetThing and Identity Digital Indigenous Leaders Internet Governance and Policy Fellowship.

The fellowship will encourage indigenous Australians to become involved in internet governance, putting into practice the benefits of the multistakeholder model and exposing a wider audience to this area. The initiative will be run by NetThing and supported by Identity Digital as part of a four-year commitment. 

As NetThing 2023 is being held in conjunction with the Asia Pacific regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF), also being held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29-31 August, fellow/s are invited to attend this exciting opportunity as well. 

Each fellowship will include:

• Travel support to attend the forum
• 4 nights accommodation in Brisbane
• Registration for both NetThing and APrIGF
• The support of a mentor, who will be available to assist the fellow/s before, during and after the event
